Euromonitor: Haier is the No.1 Brand

January 1, 2018 - The world's most authoritative market research institution Euromonitor officially released 2017's global major household appliances brand retail sales data. The data released shows that volume sales of Haier brand major household electrical appliances in 2017 accounted for 10.5% of the global market. These figures place Haier first in the world once again, the company's 9th consecutive top placement since 2009. 





 
Haier launches premium wine cellars this summer

QINGDAO HAIER ACQUIRES GE APPLIANCES


Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. (SHA: 600690; “Qingdao Haier”), a Shanghai stock exchange listed company that is 41% owned by Haier Group (“Haier”) and General Electric Company (NYSE: GE; “GE”) just announced the signing of closing documents for Qingdao Haier’s acquisition of GE Appliances from General Electric. This marks the beginning of GE Appliances as it officially becomes part of Qingdao Haier.

Haier - The Only Appliance Enterprise Successfully Authorized by Apple's MFi Program
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The four-day International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicked off in Las Vegas on January 7, with new high-tech products and technologies that attracted the interest and attention of the users from around the world. Haier smart appliances came in to focus in this exhibition for becoming the only appliance enterprise that passed Apple's official MFi authorization and certification tests globally. It is reported that Haier is the first appliance enterprise that is authorized and certified by the MFi program and Haier's Tianzun air conditioner is the first appliance to be labeled with Apple MFi official certification logo.

Chinese brand Haier went from a disastrous inefficient brand to the world’s biggest household appliances manufacturer thanks to its CEO, Zhang Ruimin, innovative entrepreneurial thinking. The ideal scenario for China would be that many local brands could achieve Haier’s reputation and capacity for innovation. Haier makes a Higher entrance in Beirut

In this occasion, Brothers Electronics held a launching ceremony at Pavillon Royal, Beirut-Lebanon.
